Appliance footprint

Sized for production, not for a lab.

The appliance is shaped to sit alongside the rest of your test infrastructure. Hardware specifics depend on your retention window, agent count, and target concurrency — your account team confirms exact numbers against the deployment guide.

"Confirm the deployment numbers in the official guide for your version — these are the categories, not the constants."

Modern Windows Server
The appliance runs on a current Windows Server release with administrator-level deployment access.
Outbound HTTPS
Outbound HTTPS for license activation, plus internal connectivity to your SQL Server / time-series datastore.
Datastore room
Sufficient storage for results history and time-series monitoring data — sized to retention windows configured on the appliance.
HTTPS-served web UI
Web UI served over HTTPS with a TLS certificate of your choosing. Configured per the deployment guide.

Web UI access

Operate the platform from the browser you already use.

The web UI is served over HTTPS and rendered with modern web standards — works on the browsers your team is already on.

Chrome

Recommended browser for the best LoadGen experience.

Edge

Fully supported for all LoadGen web UI features.

Firefox

Supported for LoadGen web UI access.

Data storage

Industry-standard backends.

LoadGen relies on industry-standard backends for configuration, results, and monitoring data — your DBAs already operate them.

SQL Server
Configuration, results, and test metadata are stored in a managed SQL Server instance.
Time-series
Time-series monitoring data is stored in a dedicated time-series datastore for high-cardinality metrics.
Dashboards
Optional integration with Grafana or any other compatible dashboard layer over the time-series datastore.

Platform support · load testing

Per-platform wizard reference.

Every supported target maps to a documented wizard route and a known-good agent strategy.
